Calvary Christian Ministries is an evangelical dynamic ministry that was initiated by God through Rev. Jean Pierre Nkunda in 1998.

The ministry started with revival meetings in different churches, and door to door evangelism. On January14th, 2007 a local church started to operate in Rugenge, Muhima Kigali , Rwanda with a passion to bring many people to Christ and to help them, meeting their needs.

This passion was in line with the following scriptures:

• 1 Peter 2 : 24
• Isaiah 61 : 1 - 7
• Leviticus 25 : 8 - 13
